But as well as good customer service, they are good in other ways. They hire people with disabilities, fund various social programs etc.

Another wonderful Peruvian company is Hiraoka. Everything is half the price of Ripley and Saga, and it all comes with a one-year guarantee as standard.

I´m peruvian and if there´s something I know from experience is that complaints in my country are not listened most of the times (or ever).
A couple of times I went back to Wong with small complaints of the products and, much to my surprise, I got refunded immediately and without any problems! Also, there was this other time when I forgot to pick up my calling card from elsewhere in the store, and came the next day (when I noticed I didn´t have it!)… and they gave it to me al toque no más!… :)
The service is definitely good, and only few times, very few times, I have had a bad experience. But not bad enough to make me change of supermarket.
