		<description><![CDATA[I can&#039;t imagine what the inside of those places looks like.  

What&#039;s mind boggling to me is that the social/economic system enables petty crime.  There are is a &quot;centro commercial&quot; here in the Santiago district of Cusco that is largely a place to buy/sell stolen goods, but the authorities don&#039;t seem to care.  Also, in Calle Procuradores at the Plaza de Armas petty criminals and drug dealers hang out at night without any repercussions. 

I imagine plenty of kickbacks keep the status quo in place...

We&#039;ve had 2 people come by to &quot;scope out&quot; our house in the last few weeks, thank goodness we have Pitbull!]]></description>
