I love Bembos, and have often bemoaned the fact that they don’t have one in the airport.

As for chicken, my preferred pollo a la brasa is from El Corralito in the Residencial San Felipe. It’s been there since there’s been a Residencial (it used to be known as the Polleria San Felipe) and some of the staff have been there all along. Pardo’s is overrated in my opinion (and I too got sick from eating there).

But, for all that, it’s hard to beat a pan con chicharron, isn’t it?

Never been sick from Pardo’s, but in Bembo’s it is often best to avoid the chilli sauce and ketchup… I never do, but that’s just me.

The best thing about Tio Mario is the price of the food compared to the surroundings and location. Hard to beat.

Bembos makes me go cross-eyed and I’ve become gravely ill twice after eating at Pardo’s.

As for Palermo and Pascuale Hermanos, I think they’re overrated.

Tio Mario is the best of the bunch, especially with the Lomo Anticuchos. 😉 Yum, Yum!
