I love San Blas. The higher parts are interesting to explore in the daytime. If you climb up Pasnapacana, two or three blocks higher than Tandapata you get lovely views, and good places to drink Chicha. You can also walk up from a street just off the Plazoleta (I forget the name) all the way to the Temple of the Moon. It's worth the hike because along the way you get a close up view of some terracing and also a recently excavated irrigation canal.

Some of the higher streets strike me as potentially dodgy at night, but the lower part has amusing bars, including my favourite KM 0.
