NBC’s reportage provides just a brief overview of Peru’s water issues, but the images dramatically show how immediate the water crisis is in this country and make the situation ‘real’ for viewers in the U.S. The scenes of municipal workers in Miraflores watering flowers and lawns should make some of us reconsider water use in the capital.
