		<description><![CDATA[Great article!  I know about the munecos from a project I started in the Peruvian Amazon.  Indigenous children documented their everyday lives in photos.  I invite everyone to visit ninosdelaamazonia.org for a unique perspective of everyday indigenous life in the remote Peruvian Amazon.  For New Years - the people in the Amazon make their own munecos, put a sign on them telling of a bad thing they did during the year and then burn them.  They also enjoy food and drink - (homemade brew called masato) and those fortunate enough have a little paneton from the city to enjoy and share.]]></description>
