gracias a los atletas y otros instituciones por el gran aporte al Peru.

In Peru you can have your sports and you can have life’s rewards too.

Peruvians are very hardworking, especially since the IPD and NGBs of the country do little to NOTHING to help out their athletes. Carcelén achieved this merit on his own.

He seems to be the most humble and genuine out of all the Peruvian sportsmen representing their country.

Yes, we love to party and we truly enjoy the time we spend with our family and friends, but we are also hardworking, responsible and disciplined when we have to be. Look at the Women’s Volleyball team from the 80’s. They wouldn’t have won so many medals at the national and international level if they hadn’t had those qualities. And even Mr. Carcelen. I don’t think he would’ve qualified for the Olympic Games only 5 years after taking up his sport if he were only interested in partying :-)
