the people that killed those precious animals don`t realize that
they`re killing there tourism if they were smart they would
preserve there eco system in turn that would bring in tourism

I have being to Iquitos and saw the pink dolphings they are the most beautiful thing i have ever seeing, this kind of news just make me sad and mad … is just terrilble, the president Alan Garcia nor any other authorities cares for them.

Terrible news, but a typical story for Peru whre basic needs are often seen as more important than the wider picture. The laws need to be implemented and the actual reasons for this slaughter sought – in an ideal environment. Unfortunately with the red tape and corruption in present day Peru, nothing is likely to be done.

Pink River dolphins are not extinct yet Kaitlyn. Unfortunately not all people are like you and I, some see pink dolphins and other innocent animals as mere objects they can kill just because they feel like it. You should mention in your report that this species in endangered and people are not doing enough to protect them.

i have to do a report on this animal. and i don’t want to do it on them if they are extinct. are they? why would they do this. they have no right and should be sent to jail for doing this. like i said in my report pink dophins are not just any old sea creature, they are a rare fun for all loving aniamal.

i totaly agree peru is not the only country thats doing this . another country that does this is japan thats how we got dolphins in aqueriams they scare the dolphins and put nets around so that the dolphins dont escape and different countries buy them for there aqueriams and the ones that a left are killed stabed to death so that they dont eat the fishes and not only that but they are killed for their meat even though the japanies government keeps this a secret spread the word let everyone u know now about this harible way that dolphins are killed save the dolphins.
