The Amazon Rainforest oil spills are truly horrifying. It is sad to hear about a place filled with beauty and life be destroyed by such things as oil. We need to stop hurting the the environment. An idea might be to confine the workplace to allow the excess oil to stay in one place. The contamination of the rainforest hurts us and it's inhabitants. We need oxygen more than oil. Oil companies need to start thinking about others instead of just money, because pretty soon they will be thinking about where they're going to die. This is a serious matter and things need to be done starting with cleaning it up. Just think, what if you were one of the people living in the Amazon and the natural resources were being contaminated and your family was dying, what would you?

The oil spills in the amazon is very sad. this oil spill made the people and the wild life in the amazon have lots of deaths over time. this was the most inconsiderate thing to do. all this polluted areas was pointless. this was a deadly move for the chevron to take charge of. to the cancer of the people and the lost for food from the animals was a hard time to live through. this was a hard case of the people to bring chevron company to court. even though it took many of years to win but it paid off. chevron was giving up planty of money to give to the amazon. but it was quite enough. they couldnt bring back the animals and people to their families after death. so it was still a hardship for those who couldnt have anything else. so prayers go out to them with nothing left.

The Amazon Rainsforest is a very beautiful place, but over the pass 28 years, oil companies like Chevron has exploited the land for the excess oil they do not use. Things need to be done to stop it, and serious clean up needs to take place. If i were a Chevron employee, i would be disapointed and i would talk to the authorities at once.

The oil spills in the Amazon Rain forest is a true disappointment. I'm learning about it in my history class and my classmates and I were astonished at the stories of the people who were severely affected by it. Justice should be served to those people, and the oil companies should be ashamed.

This story was on NPR (National Public Radio) this morning in the States. One of the Peruvian oil analysts interviewed stated:

"Remember, Peru has natural resources and it's looking to develop its economy," Ochoa says. <b>"If ecological conservation were profitable, we could do that. But who is going to step up to it?"</b>

It's a nice subtle way of telling the world that oil profits are more important than protecting the environment and the habitation of indigenous groups.
