If you publish something on the internet would be good to use their best titles, ever made ??as seen by the web or on TV that talk about Peru like always sunk in trouble. I think it’s time to use a positive logic if show something like potatoes and other things. In this case it is an extraordinary fruit is produced in peru in varieties. presumably could be appointed as the precious fruit favor the Peruvian community.

The Andean people developed techniques to preserve potatos for long time: chuño and moraya are the most used, they are basically a froze-dehidratation process.
I think, using potatos for biofuels is not a solution, as it has happen with maize: it drives agrobiodiversity down and creates problems of food insecurity. Marketing and distribution are the main problems for the potato farmers now and a lack of protection and services by the governement as in agricultural extension, credit and insurance against natural disaster very common in the Andes.

Is it right to invest in potato farms in cajamarka, peru( northern peru)? Will the campesinoes relize the labor to profit margin clearly enough to live a better life?
