We were so scared and didn&#039;t go out for days. People used to say that they could hear screaming from the spirits of the people who died on that day, trapped in there.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[I remember that in the early 1970s things were pretty hush-hush about that incident, mostly because the government clamped down on news about it and hid the true magnitude of the death toll.  We all knew something bad had happened, but no one could point to any reliable information, just rumours and second-hand reports.
For example, when I asked my parents about it, all they could tell me was that &quot;no one really knows what happened&quot; but that my uncle had been a medical student at the time and he reported the hospitals full of dead and wounded, but that that was never reported in the papers.]]></description>
