After Velo de la Novia we hiked the opposite direction to take a swim in to pool under the catarata de Bayoz. This was a waterfall that lead to another and another, all providing a good place to bathe.

Typical of the weather of that day it started to rain as we made the climb – but rain in temperatures of 30c is pretty meaningless as you are sweating as much as it is raining. By the time we arrived at the top the sun was out again and the waterfall looked spectacular.

As well as the photos of the catarata and the video below, one photo shows the giant jungle ants that lived there. At 2cm they were the biggest I have ever seen.
