I love travelling north out of the city of Lima. A hundred or so kilometres, I’m not sure, out of the city are massive sand dunes and the panamerican highway cuts along the side of one that goes on for hours. Above the road is a towering dune and below, far below, is the crashing sea. I never manage to get good photos of it, and this trip north was no exception.
