This procession is mostly observed by, as a tradition, lawyers and people in the justice system. The image of the Señor de la Sentencia. This more solemn image shows Jesus with signs of torture and beatings after being arrested by the Romans and sentenced by the town.

As the locals began filling the path of the procession with drawings it started to rain strongly. It seemed like the procession was off for a few minutes as thunder and lighting passed overhead. It stopped – but the drawings were wet and unfinished. After a lot of rushing, most settled for simpler designs than they had intended. The procession left from the Templo de Amarguru and we were there to see it leave.
