A large part of this blog in dedicated to tourism, places and attractions across the country. There’s so much to see and do in Peru, and all of it is so compelling, that you can’t help but be pulled this and that way across the nation by it all. This means that the ever growing number of articles on this website is huge, and even with the search function, categories, and tags, it can be difficult to find what you want to find without knowing a very specific phrase in the article you have yet to read to narrow it down.
That’s where this page comes in. Here the travel-oriented blog posts, just those, not the news items, social commentary or food blog posts, are organised in two ways for you to find what you want in two ways.
Firstly, in a far more detailed manner, by departments, the 26 political divisions of Peru shown on the map, and secondly by commonly known cities or jumping-off points. In the department pages you’ll find overall information, links to other websites and detailed maps. The post relating to jumping-off points, which can be cities or general areas from which you can reach a set of attractions, you will find a long list of blog posts which you will have to scroll through. I call these “guides”.
Good luck on your travels, if you have questions or can’t find an article, drop me a line.
